As service providers, we screen potential clients to see if they are eligible for our programming. We know how critical supportive social services can be in stabilizing survivors - the sooner they can wrap around an individual, the better. This tool is meant to help social service providers improve access to services by quickly seeing whether or not they’ve identified a potential victim of human trafficking, which often meets program eligibility requirements, without needing to wait for a lengthy legal assessment. (Please note, this screening tool is not considered "legal determination" for human trafficking.)
Take a look at our short video toolkit on using our updated screening tool for social service providers.
